The Palestinian NGOs Network Won the French Republic Human Rights Award 2009

In November 2009, the jury of the French National Consultant Committee for Human Rights in France selected the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) as one of the five winners -among candidates from all over the world - for the French Republic Human Rights Award 2009.
The jury considers that PNGO network deserves this prize because of its work to defend human rights.
Bernard Kouchner, the French Foreign Minister, will hand over the Human Rights Award to PNGO in Paris on the 10th of December 2009, on the occasion of the 61st Anniversary of the Universal Declaration for Human Rights. In addition, PNGO network will receive a 15,000 Euros grant, as a contribution to execute its activities for defending freedoms and strengthening human rights.
PNGO network is a civil and democratic body which seeks to support, consolidate and strengthen the Palestinian civil society on the basis of the principles of democracy, social justice and sustainable development. It is a Palestinian NGOs umbrella organization comprising 132 member organizations working in different developmental fields in Jerusalem , the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
PNGO network was established in September 1993, after the signing of the Oslo Accords, with the objective of enhancing coordination, consultation and cooperation among the different sectors of civil society. PNGO network serves as an essential coordination mechanism for the NGO sector at the local, regional, and international levels.
PNGO network expresses today its gratitude and appreciation for being awarded this essential prize. PNGO network dedicates this award to the Palestinian people, and to the national organizations which struggle to reach the Palestinian national rights and rule of law.
PNGO network considers this award as a message of appreciation and support to the Palestinian civil society organizations' efforts. These organizations work in very hard and complicated conditions, facing the Israeli occupation, to strengthen human rights, defend freedoms, and promote the restoration of the national unity in Palestine .
PNGO network affirms that being rewarded such prize will support its efforts to strengthen and support the Palestinian civil society, raising its voice on different levels, and developing the Palestinian society.

Le réseau des ONG palestiniennes remporte
le Prix des Droits de l'Homme de la République française 2009
En Novembre 2009, le jury de la Commission nationale consultative française des droits de l'homme en France a sélectionné le Réseau des Organisations Non-Gouvernementales Palestiniennes (PNGO) comme l'un des cinq lauréats, choisi parmi des candidats du monde entier, du Prix des droits de l'homme de la République française 2009.
Le jury considère que le réseau PNGO mérite ce prix en raison de son travail pour la défense des droits de l'homme.
Bernard Kouchner, Ministre français des Affaires Étrangères, remettra le prix des droits de l'homme aux représentants du PNGO à Paris le 10 Décembre 2009, à l'occasion du 61e anniversaire de la Déclaration universelle des droits de l'homme. En outre, le Réseau PNGO recevra une subvention 15.000 Euros, contribution pour la réalisation de ses activités pour la défense des libertés et le renforcement des droits de l'homme.
Le Réseau PNGO est un organisme civil et démocratique qui vise à soutenir, consolider et renforcer la société civile palestinienne sur la base des principes de démocratie, justice sociale et de développement durable. PNGO est une plateforme d'ONG palestiniennes qui regroupe 132 organisations membres travaillant dans différents domaines de développement à Jérusalem, en Cisjordanie et dans le Bande de Gaza.
Le Réseau PNGO a été créé en Septembre 1993, après la signature des Accords d'Oslo, avec l'objectif de renforcer la coordination, la consultation et la coopération entre les différents secteurs de la société civile. Le Réseau PNGO sert de mécanisme essentiel de coordination pour les ONG aux niveaux local, régional et international.
Le Réseau PNGO exprime aujourd'hui sa gratitude et ses remerciements pour avoir remporté ce prix essentiel. Le Réseau PNGO dédie ce prix au peuple palestinien, et aux organisations nationales qui luttent pour atteindre les droits nationaux des Palestiniens ainsi que la primauté du droit.
Le Réseau PNGO considère cette distinction comme un message de satisfaction et de soutien aux efforts déployés par les organisations de la société civile palestinienne. Ces organisations travaillent à renforcer les droits de l'homme, à défendre les libertés, et à promouvoir la restauration de l'unité nationale en Palestine, ceci dans des conditions très difficiles et compliquées dues à l'occupation israélienne,
PNGO réseau affirme que le fait d'être récompensé de ce Prix lui permettra d'accentuer ses efforts visant à renforcer et à soutenir et à développer la société civile palestinienne, élevant sa voix à différents niveaux.

شبكة المنظمات الاهلية تحصل على جائزة الجمهورية الفرنسية لحقوق الانسان لعام 2009
قررت هيئة المحلفين المؤلفة من اللجنة الاستشارية الوطنية الفرنسية لحقوق الإنسان، الخاصة بجائزة الجمهورية الفرنسية لحقوق الإنسان للعام 2009، باختيار شبكة المنظمات الأهلية الفلسطينية ضمن خمسة فائزين من كافة انحاء العالم وذلك بناء على القرار الذي اتخذته الهيئة في مطلع شهر نوفمبر الجاري.
وورد في القرار الذي تسلمته الشبكة ان هيئة المحلفين وجدت ان العمل الذي تقوم به الشبكة من اجل حماية وتعزيز حقوق الانسان وفقا لروح الاعلان العالمي لحقوق الانسان يستحق هذه الجائزة.
وسيقوم وزير الخارجية الفرنسي برنارد كوشنير بتسليم الشبكة جائزة حقوق الانسان في باريس في الاسبوع الذي يتخللة العاشر من ديسمبر المقبل " بمناسبة الذكرى الحادي والستون للاعلان العالمي لحقوق الانسان" كما سيتم منح الشبكة جائزة مالية قدرها 15 الف يورو كمساهمة لتنفيذ انشطتها في مجال الدفاع عن الحريات وتعزيز حقوق الانسان.
وبهذة المناسبة فأن الشبكة تعرب عن اعتزازها وتقديرها لمنحها هذة الجائزة الهامه والتي تهديها الى كافة ابناء شعبنا الفلسطيني ومؤسساته الوطنية التي تناضل من اجل انجاز الحقوق الوطنية الفلسطينية وسيادة القانون.
وتعتبر الشبكة ان هذة الجائزة هي رسالة تقدير ودعم لجهود منظمات المجتمع المدني الفلسطيني التي تعمل في ظل ظروف بالغة الصعوبة والتعقيد من اجل تعزيز حقوق الانسان والدفاع عن الحريات واستعادة الوحدة الوطنية في مواجهة مخططات الاحتلال الاسرائيلي.
كما تؤكد الشبكة على ان حصولها على هذة الجائزة سيدعم توجهاتها من اجل تعزيز ودعم دور وجهود المجتمع المدني الفلسطيني ورفع صوته على مختلف المستويات النضالية من اجل الحرية وتنمية المجتمع الفلسطيني.
يشار الى ان شبكة المنظمات الأهلية الفلسطينية تجمع ديمقراطي مدني مستقل يضم في عضويته 132 منظمة أهلية تعمل في حقول انسانية واجتماعية وتنموية مختلفة في القدس والضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة، وتهدف الى اسناد وتمكين المجتمع الفلسطيني في اطار تعزيز المباديء الديمقراطية والعدالة الاجتماعية والتنمية المستدامة واحترام حقوق الانسان.
وتقدم الشبكة خدماتها دونما تمييز على اساس الدين او الجنس او العرق حيث انشئت شبكة المنظمات الاهلية الفلسطينية في ايلول عام 1993، بعد توقيع اتفاق اوسلو مباشرة، بهدف تعزيز التعاون والتشاور والتنسيق والتشبيك بين مختلف منظمات المجتمع المدني. منذ ذلك الحين، وحتى الان، اضحت شبكة المنظمات الاهلية واحدة من المكونات الهامة من المجتمع الفلسطيني، وخاصة كحلقة وصل واطار مرجعي للتنسيق بين المنظمات الاهلية على المستويات المحلية والاقليمية والدولية.
