This is one of the most inciteful films I have ever viewed.
Thank you Arundhati for saying, "The American way of life is nonsustainable because it does not recognize that there is a way of life beyond America" This film should be shown to every single American citizen before giving them their own personal opportunity to live the lives of those whom it oppresses. The lies which the Bush administration and past administrations have sold to my country are at their very base evil. To say that we are hated for our freedoms while it is we who perpetuate oppression is hypocracy. In order to sustain our way of life, we must take others freedoms from them. As the gap between rich and poor grows wider, as the Hummers drink the gas, the mansion-style houses multiply and the programs helping the poor decrease, we further distance ourselves from the humanity which our creator intended for us to live. As we spread our corporations at the ends of guns and wage war to conquer war, we distance ourselves even further. God bless you Arundhati for your message of truth.
