One child injured, another suffocates during Israeli attacks in Al-Khalil

RAMALLAH -- One Palestinian child was injured and another suffered tear gas suffocation during different attacks by Israeli settlers and troops on Palestinian citizens in Al-Khalil city on Saturday.
Palestinian sources said that savage Israeli settlers threw stones at a seven-year-old child called Alaa Hosni which caused injuries to his head as well as damage to a car belonging to UNRWA in Bouira area.
In Safa town, south of Al-Khalil, clashes broke out between Israeli troops and Palestinians when the troops prevented farmers from reaching their lands at the pretext they were escorted by international peace activists.
The troops, afterwards, fired tear gas and flash bang grenades at the Palestinian protesters and the surrounding homes which led to the suffocation of an eight-year-old boy called Naser Adi.
Israeli settlers from Beit Haggai settlement, south of Al-Khalil, also prevented at gunpoint a number of Palestinian farmers from cultivating their lands.
In a separate incident, two Palestinian workmen were wounded by Israeli gunfire at dawn Saturday in Yatta town in Al-Khalil, one of them was seriously injured and transferred to Al-Khalil hospital.
Media sources said that Israeli troops at Janba military checkpoint opened fire at a car boarded by Palestinian workmen as they were heading to their work places in the 1948 occupied lands.
The reporter of the Palestinian information center reported Saturday that three Palestinian young men were wounded when the car they were boarding was shot during a pursuit by Israeli troops in Hosan village, south of Bethlehem.
Other two Palestinians boarding a car were also wounded by Israeli gunfire south of Al-Khalil Mount.
