Occupation Forces supress Al-Masara weekly demonstration

Tens of activists and children suffered from tear-gas inhalation fired at them by the Occupation Forces during the weekly demonstration against the Apartheid Wall in Al-Masara.
The weekly demonstration marked the anniversary of the second intifada and was also in solidarity with the secretary general of the PFLP who has been in solitary confinement for over 500 days.
Demonstrators marched from Zawahre School toward the Apartheid Wall, where speeches were made. The general coordinator of Bethlehem district in the campaign, Mazen Al-Azeh, asked the Palestinian Authority to pullout of the negotiations that will lead to no-where, especially as the continued occupation is forcing new facts on ground by continuing the construction of the Apartheid Wall and expanding the settlements. Then, Mohammad Brejeh, the coordinator of the village committee and the spokesman of Bethlehem district, said that the Palestinians resistance against oppression will continue until the land is free and all rights are given back. He also saluted secretary general of PFLP and asked the international community to pressure the Israeli government to release all of prisoners.
The activists, also, planned a circus for children just after the demonstration and close to the Apartheid Wall. The circus included a show by two British female artists to entertain the children. But once the demonstration started, Occupation Forces fired teargas and rubber bullets on the participants, which forced the people to pull back to the village. Later they marched for the second time to the Wall location with the children to start the circus events. But the Occupation Forces fired teargas and voice grenades on the participants and the children causing a huge panic for the kids and many suffering from teargas inhalation.
