Gaza – PNN - Israeli soldiers opened fire on Monday midday at a group of Palestinians protesting the Israeli fence surrounding the Gaza strip.

Palestinians along with a number of international supporters gathered in the Abssan town near the southern borders with Israel.
People demanded the Israeli army to stop creating the buffer zone near the borders and building the fence using Palestinian farmers lands.
Protesters managed to reach the fence before soldiers opened fire at them. Organizers ended the protest avoiding any injuries.
Adnan Al Faqawi, a local organizer, told Palestinian media that the weekly protests against the Israeli fence and buffer zone will continue regardless of the violence it met with from the Israeli soldiers.
