Jenin - Two flying checkpoints were installed south of Jenin on Friday morning, hours after soldiers entered the Al-Yamoun village northwest of the city and deployed in the streets.
Forces appeared to be searching for someone, locals said, noting no arrests were made, but checkpoints were installed for several hours on the roads between Arraba village and Jenin as well as on the Qabatiya-Misliya road.
Residents were stopped and searched at both points, and no arrests were reported.
An Israeli military spokesman said he was nor familiar with the incident.
