BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Relatives of a seventh grade student said Sunday that Israeli forces detained the pupil after raiding his school in Hebron's Old City.
Karam Na'im Da'na was detained from the Al-Mutannabi School and taken to the Ofer detention center in Ramallah, his family said, adding that he has a fractured foot.
Meanwhile, a source at the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Education said Israeli soldiers forced students to evacuate the nearby Al-Ibrahimmiyye School and surrounded the nearby Al-Fayhaa School on Sunday.
The source also said the Al-Fayhaa School's janitor Khadija Bint Khuwaylid was questioned by Israeli forces.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said the army was not familiar with the incidents.
On Wednesday, the PA ministry said Israeli forces raided the Al-Ibrahimmiyye School and detained two ninth grade students.
An Israeli military spokesman said at the time that troops, with Israel's Civil Administration, entered the school "in coordination with the principal."
