Egypt to build 23 watchtowers along borders with Gaza

GAZA -- The Egyptian authorities are planning to construct 23 watchtowers supplied with bullet proof glass windows and electronic devices allowing monitoring of four directions along the borders with Gaza Strip, Egyptian reliable sources said on Wednesday.
They said in a press statement that one of the specialized companies would carry out the construction of those watchtowers within the few coming days.
They noted that trucks have been carrying cement with special qualities to the border strip for more than two weeks.
The sources said that ten other watchtowers with similar qualities would be built near the sea border with Gaza.
