Het verhaal van een Nederlands Palestijns gezin in Nederland (in diaspora).
2008/10/23 - Verhaal van Jamal..... Omdat we ons land bezet gebied is moest mijn moedervoor de reis een visum aanvragen bij het Israelische ambassade in Denhaag. Tijdens de aanvraag vroegen ze om moeders ID pas om gegevens daaruit over te nemen voor de aanvraag. Moeder gaf deze pas te goeder trouw en kreeg deze niet meer terug. Ze kreeg te horen dat ze de ID-pas bij aankomst in nablus terug zou krijgen........Na 2 maanden getouw trek , kreeg mijn moeder te horen dat ze de ID pas niet kon krijgen en moest samen met ons noodzakelijker wijs terugkeren naar Vlaardingen......Daarna hebben we getracht, hoe moeilijk dat ook was, er het beste van te maken. Nu zijn we allemaal inmiddels Nederlandse staatsburger en hebben hier ons leven opgebouwd. Als we naar ons geboorte land gaan dan kan dat alleen als Nederlandse “toerist” om de rest van de familie te zien en het land te bezoeken...want daar blijven mag niet meer...........
