Gretta Duisenberg vraagt zich af waarom dergelijke afschuwelijke daden stelselmatig door de media worden genegeerd. Stop de Bezetting voldoet hierbij graag aan de oproep dergelijke berichten zo breed mogelijk te verspreiden.

On July 13th, the Israeli settlers living in Ma'on settlement south east of Hebron city poisoned a cistern on purpose, community!
This cistern was the main source of drinking water for about 110 children under the age of 13, who were participating in a summer camp
Mr. Saber Al Hureini, head of At Tuwani local council confirmed that he saw four armed settlers wondering in the area and nearby the cistern.
The cistern_s water was examined after a number of dead chickens soaked in addition to the chemical and poisonous substance that was also floating on the surface of the water. The results confirmed poisoning of the water in the cistern.
The Israeli police and army rushed to the scene for further investigation, but no action appears to have been taken against those responsible.
The settlers came back to the community on the July 27th, where they threw a number of poisoned chicken in another domestic cistern in the same community.
The surrounding communities are living in the fear that this might happen again and in any community, which could cause a real humanitarian disaster. Protection of these communities from settler_s actions is needed
