Meet with Your Members of Congress to End Siege of Gaza, Freeze Settlements, and More

Members of Congress will be in their home districts to meet with their constituents in August. There is still time for you to organize a delegation, request a meeting with your Members of Congress, and meet with them to urge accountability for U.S. weapons transfers to Israel, to end Israel's siege of the Gaza Strip, and to freeze Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Already more than 100 people have volunteered to set up meetings with their Members of Congress in 32 states and 90 Congressional districts. This is a great start but it means that less than 1 in every 4 Representatives will be receiving a visit next month from people who are concerned about these issues unless more people sign up by clicking here.

It is our responsibility as good citizens to convey our issues and concerns to the people we elect to represent us. And if we don't, then we can't expect policy to change for the better. So sign up today to organize a meeting with your Member of Congress in August by clicking here.

After you sign up to schedule a meeting with your Members of Congress by clicking here, we will put you in touch with other people in your Congressional district and state who are also organizing meetings. We will also give you links to resources such as:

* A memo to give to your Members of Congress with amendment language to condition military aid to Israel

* The voting records of your Members of Congress in our 111th Congressional Report Card

And for people who sign up to schedule meetings, we'll send you shortly draft Congressional resolutions that you can share with your Members of Congress and ask them to introduce calling for Israel to end its siege of the Gaza Strip and freeze settlement construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
