Tomorrow night in New York, Jewish Voice for Peace will be holding a talk about "Pogroms in Hebron" and the American support for them, featuring several speakers, including the co-editor of this site, Adam Horowitz. Here are the details:
Abed Ayoub, of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, Issa Amro, a B’tselem representative living in Hebron, and Horowitz will discuss the siege status of Palestinians living in Hebron. Says JVP: "The final resting place of Abraham, revered by Jews and Muslims alike, is home to the violent fringe of the settler movement and tens of thousands of Palestinians held hostage. Join us as we examine the current situation in Hebron and the links between New York based, tax exempt charities that fund the violence and your tax dollars at work."
Wed, March 24th, 7 PM LGBT Center, 208 W. 13th St $5-$10 at the door.
