WHAT NOW FOR MANCHESTER
Public meeting with members of the Free Gaza Movement followed by action planning as to what we can do here in Manchester.

Talks from Jenny Linnell and Fida Quishta broke the Israeli blockade of Gaza on the Free Gaza boats and remained in Gaza during the bombing campaign of December and January that killed over 1400 people and 300 children. They continued to work and report from Gaza for a further 6 months before returning at the end of July after a battle to get through the Rafah border.
Briefly explaining his experience will also be Adie Mormech who was one of the Gaza 21. He was on what was the eighth Free Gaza voyage on the 'Spirit of Humanity' boat, trying to take aid into Gaza and break the siege. He and the other passengers were abducted at sea by Israeli special forces and imprisoned in Israel for six nights.
The second half of the meeting will be dedicated to action planning about what we should now be doing here in Manchester to help bring justice to the Palestinians, and how we can make that happen.
